In everyday life, letting go means looking realistically at whatever situation is controlling you or your thoughts, taking personal responsibility for what you are going to do to protect, or taking care of yourself and then doing it.
Often, however, we respond to such knowledge with "You don't understand, it's so hard!" My response to that is always, "It is never as hard or as long as what you are putting yourself through now, by continuing to hold on."

The majority of this journal is designed for you to be able to pick and choose which sections will be useful to you. This will vary from day to day. The first section, however, is slightly different. The Daily Pages section means exactly that. The recommendation is that you fill in one page every day to get a better understanding of how you feel and what’s going on in your life.
From this, you’ll learn about the things you need to let go of and get used to using writing to help you do this.
